How to wash and dry hair extensions?
Depending on the installation method that you are wearing, we highly recommend having your stylist shampoo and dry your hair extensions. In between salon visits, you can use a dry shampoo to revitalize your hair.
How to brush hair extensions?
With curly clip in hair extensions, we recommend brushing your hair extensions while it is wet to avoid tangles. Silkier hair extensions are fine to brush while dry. A Denman brush is suggested.
How do I choose the right shade of Indique Hair extensions?
You should select a shade that closely resembles your natural hair. Most premium brands carry a 1B. Since the hair is virgin, your stylist is able to color it.
Can I dye/color my hair extensions?
If your hair is in its natural state, the hair can be colored. If your purchase hair that was already colored, it can still be colored but should be done delicately. A colorist should color the hair.

What are clip-in hair extensions?
Clip in human hair extensions are wefted hair with clips attached that allows you to clip it into your hair. It is temporary and should be taken out at night.
How do I clip-in hair extensions?
To clip-in hair extensions, we recommend sectioning your hair with a rat-tail comb. Tease the hair that the clips will adhere to. If your hair is fine, you can use dry shampoo on those sections. Clip the hair starting from the back and working your way towards the front. It’s important to leave enough of your real hair out at the top to cover the last row of clip-ins.
How long does it take to clip in hair extensions?
It can take between 15 to 30 minutes. The duration of the prep depends on if you have to manipulate your real hair to blend with the extensions.
