Indique Hair is pleased to announce a new partnership with Fund a Child's Education Zimbabwe (FACEZ) under the umbrella of Indique Cares. FACEZ is a Zimbabwean non-profit organization whose mission is to provide marginalized children with an equal and fair opportunity to access and benefit from education. To that end, they provide funding for children to attend school by covering their school fees. Indique Cares is proud to sponsor GiveDirectly. GiveDirectly facilitates money transfers directly from donors to the extreme poor in Kenya and Uganda. A growing body of research is showing that poor families that receive cash transfers are able to use them to improve their lives, for example, by making investments in crops or livestock, housing improvements, or education. The Pan-Massachusetts Challenge raises money for life-saving cancer research and treatment at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute through an annual bike-a-thon that crosses the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. For the entire month of March 2012, Indique hair sponsored a month long clothing drive for Bottomless Closet NYC. Over 200 Indique Hair clients donated items of clothing, accessories, and shoes. On April 2, 2012, Indique Hair sponsored and hosted a “Day of Glam” beauty makeover for women served by the non-profit organization.

For the month of October 2011, a portion of sales went to Susan G. Komen for the Cure®. Indique Hair also participated in the 19th Annual Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, raising over $3,000. On October 17, 2011, Indique and its team of pro-stylists teamed up with CancerCare and provided complementary Indique lace front wigs and makeovers to breast cancer survivors and those currently battling breast cancer.
